Hand-dyed 1,200 yard skeins in Cotton and Rayon plies. Slightly larger than 10/2.
This yarn is 3900 yards per pound which is slightly larger than a 10/2. It wraps at about 40 wpi. I would sett it at 24 epi or even a little tighter to show it off in the warp. Suggestion only! I love the way it dyes with a barber pole effect due to the cotton and the rayon plies having different characteristics. The wrap ply dyes brightly with huge luster. The core ply dyes more subtly and softly with no luster. Just wonderful! This is perhaps the softest yarn I offer.
This yarn is colorfast in normal use. Do not bleach or use in prolonged sunlight. I boil it and rinse a minimum of 4 or 5 times, but there might still be a little color in your water the first time you wash them. When combining warps that include dark colors with other colors, wash in color water with color catcher the first time. I do not suggest mixing these yarns with white or very light colors. Please look over them carefully when you get them. If they will not work for you, please return them in their original condition for a refund or exchange.
Shipping will be added at check out. An additional 5% of product price will be added to orders sent to countries other than the USA. (Minimum of $5) This can be avoided if you have an address in the US to which your warps can be shipped.
