Slideshow: Handwoven Fabrics

These are fabrics that are woven using my hand-dyed yarns. I use MX Fiber Reactive dyes on my cotton yarn. These dyes are colorfast and have the capacity to bring subtle color blending and also vibrant color shading. I space-dye my yarns which is a controlled dye method in which each thread changes color as it moves through the fabric. I work almost exclusively with cotton and other cellulose fibers. The signature of my woven work is the colorful flowing threads that I use in weaving the structure of the fabric.
