Blue Highway (20/2 Mercerized Cotton)
This 20/2 UKI mercerized cotton warp has approx 8400 yards per pound. Because it is mercerized, it has an elegant sheen and a smooth surface. I am crazy about this yarn and will be offering more of it in dyed color combinations as well. Standard sett via Handwoven's Master Yarn Chart: Weaving setts it from 30 to 48 epi. The warps are wound generously in a longer length than listed. If you are supplementing additional warp threads, please wind up to nearest full yarn. Each warp has a white info tag located at the cross. There are loops at the beginning and at the end of the warps. I tie the warp in 6 places: at beginning and ending loops, a thread by thread cross, a counting raddle cross in bundles of 20 threads, and two choke ties near each end. If you need more ties to secure it due to your personal setup techniques, add more. Please look over them carefully when you get them. If they will not work for you, please return them in their original condition for a refund or exchange. There is no refund on shipping costs.
We work diligently to catch knots & other distractions as we wind. Sometimes they get by, so I encourage you to design your weaving project saving one thread from the warp bundle for a repair thread if need be.
Shipping will be added at check out. An additional 5% of product price will be added to orders sent to countries other than the USA. (Minimum of $5) This can be avoided if you have an address in the US to which your warps can be shipped.
