Lovestruck Warp (18/2 Filpucci Italian Cotton)

from $60.00
Sold Out

My warps are hand-dyed. The colors in the actual warps are a bit darker and richer than the colors you see in the photos here. All warps will vary in color and each is unique.

This is a fine cotton (7,560 yards per pound) that is best suited to experienced weavers with gentle hands. It has been used beautifully and with great results from many of my followers, but it is probably not the best warp to start with if you have not used my dyed warps before. Standard recommended sett is about 26-30 for plain weave. 34-38 for twills. Note: I tend to sett my warps more densely than standard recommendations to showcase the dye work. Check out the Blazing Shuttles Chatter page on Facebook for more information about how others have used this yarn!

A few words from Filpucci Yarns: "Filpucci combines its research expertise with a passion for studying innovative, ethical systems. The spinning mill has long worked on rethinking processes and products, on reducing consumption and environmental-impact factors. Its sustainability vision focuses on continuously updating operations and technology, on virtuous innovation and on embracing positive codes of behaviour. Pivotal factors include applying recycling principles to defend raw materials and the environment and preserving natural resources such as water and power."

Shipping will be added at check out. An additional 5% of product price will be added to orders sent to countries other than the USA. (Minimum of $5) This can be avoided if you have an address in the US to which your warps can be shipped.
